Using JQuery Html5 File Upload 3.0
Plugin settings allow max file size 500mb

PHP Settings:
max_execution_time 30000
memory_limit 500M
post_max_size 500M
upload_max_filesize 500M

It worked on a small file but I got this error on a 32mb file. The progress bar went all the way through, the time remaining counted down to 0 and then this error displayed instead of the filename.

have you restarted the server after increasing the limits in php.ini settings? The plugin should work for bigger files provided the php settings are properly set. The maximum file size in the plugin setting page is a subset of upload_max_filesize on php.ini file.

Is the server you are working on owned by you are is it a shared hosting. If it is a share hosting, they may be putting a limit to the file size. If you have a local installation, try it there and if everything works fine, contact your service provider.
