• It would be nice if this plugin would include an option to roll back to the latest stable release. This plugin was accidentally installed on a production site (site was deployed through Git without a gitignore file) and the client updated to an alpha release that caused problems. The process of rolling back to the stable release was more complicated than it should have been. It would be nice if there was a one-click solution built in to the updates page.

    That’s a good idea but not a trivial thing to add. 4.2, for example, changes the database to allow utf8mb4 and been a lot of term-splitting work. There isn’t a good way to undo those changes, especially if content has been added that would suffer from the previous db schema.

    Thanks for that response. I figured there might be some major issues with trying to accomplish something like that. Also, I guess it would just add more code that would have to be retained within the site and take up more space.

    No problemo…I like like concept of keeping things Lean & Mean.
