Mail using SMTP?

    My server does not use mail(). I have WP-Mail-SMTP plugin installed, and it works with some plugins involving user notifications. In the second step there is an button to send a preview, but ir does not work. This is the message (sorry, is in spanish): Error de envío del mensaje Guia de Usuario de 5 Minutos para myaccount@myserver.me | Could not instantiate mail function. (original email address is correct). My question is if MailPoet is compatible with WP-Mail-SMTP. Thanks!

    Make sure to use the same information you have filled on your wp-mail-smtp on the Settings page of MailPoet, Send with tab, select the option: Third Party.

    MailPoet don’t use the built-in wp_mail() function, that’s why your plugin won’t help in this case.
