• Hello-I hope someone can assist me. I installed the Ninja Firewall yesterday and now have no access to the ADMIN back end and the site. I get a white page. I reached out to Ninja Firewall. They replied to find and edit the PHP.INI and .htaccess files, removing all entries: BEGIN NinjaFirewall and ends with END NinjaFirewall, then re-upload the files. Did that. No change. Still no access. The ADMIN ule and site url lead to a white page.

I want to delete all Ninja Firewall using FTP as that is the only access I have. Someone must know of a way so I can get my ADMIN access back and deactivate the plugin.

This has been going on for two days. The Ninja Help person simply referred me to their HELP page. I waited over 8 hours for information I had already found and followed.

Your urgent help is requested. Thanks!

  • Howdy.

Did you finally get this issue resolved?

    I’m having a similar problem.

I did not receive a lot of help here, which surprised me.

I finally decided to restore the site from a backup, which essentially removed the Ninja Firewall. I renamed the site files and the firewall in FTP and the problem was solved.

Once the backup was fully installed the site was restored. I went with a less aggressive firewall and it’s been working fine.

    Dear Keith,

Thanks for letting me know and for the details of how you solved the problem. But what a hassle!

As it happens, it seems I was more fortunate.

I just got very helpful assistance from nintechnet and only a few minutes ago, was able to fix my blank/white page website problem.

Here’s the thread — just for the record.

Thanks for the update and I am glad you were able to get assistance and resolve your problem. You would think the developers would be able to find some resolution to this issue as it appears common. Too common, in fact. One should not have as many occurrences of the white screen as they have and not remedy the cause(s).

Hopefully others will find this thread useful in the future.

    Best,

    Keith
