    Hello Sietse,

There is nothing built into the plugin that would allow for this.

You can try using the Tools/Export function, selecting “Portfolio” as what to export. You’d then use the Tools/Import function, which requires adding the Import plugin.

I haven’t tried this, so, not certain how it will work for you but may be worth a try. I’d install and configure the Portfolio plugin on the other site first.

    Good luck,

    Jeff

    Thanks Jeff,

But your method is not working well. I emptied all the portfolio items from the portfolio on the other website first and then imported the xml file. But it did not show all the portfolio items from the original website and did not update images.

Is this plugin still being maintained?

I think the fact that I responded the same day is an indication that I’m still supporting the plugin.

As I mentioned, this plugin, like most plugins, does not support migrating data from one WordPress installation to another. That’s way outside the scope of it’s intended purpose. You’ll likely need to manually copy over images and otherwise troubleshoot things or try and find a plugin that migrates data since the standard WordPress functionality isn’t doing it for you.

    Cheers,
    Jeff
