Restrict number of Custom Post Taxonomies a user can create

    Is there a way to restrict the number of categories a user can create down to say 10? So once a user has reached 10, the category post form disappears or is disabled.

    On the note of categories and custom post taxonomy, is there a way to hide the Parent dropdown and description boxes?

    It would be possible to develop such a feature, you could hook into ‘create_term’ and add a term created counter to the user meta.
