I asked the support of my hosting company to restore the website form a couple of days ago… But I think it is very strange that after a theme update the theme options – pictures, logo, text & style css, is gone.
I had the exact same problem! After updating, any changes I had made in the ‘colorway options’ including all custom css, feature image, logo etc disappeared. Luckily I had backed it up before updating and now have my old site back, but would like to upgrade without this problem.

if you have updated version of this theme then delete the theme and install the fresh copy.
This may resolve your problem, if not please let me know.

Well, speaking for myself, like I stated a week ago the support of my hosting company to restore the website and I haven’t done the update. And I probably will not. I am looking into another theme.
thanks for answering. I see that not all themes are very well supported, and I think questions about this theme do get answered bij theme authors.

Deleting the theme and installing a fresh copy did not work! If anything it has a worse affect then before losing everything except images and content.
