I’m terribly sorry you had a poor experience.
Sounds like a plugin/theme conflict.
To test for a theme conflict:
- Activate default Twenty Ten, Eleven, Twelve, or Thirteen theme
- Check to see if the issue still occurs
- If the issue does not occur after having activated the default “Twenty” theme, your theme is causing a conflict with landing pages.
To test for a plugin conflict:
- Deactivate ALL plugins
- Activate Landing Pages
- Check to see if the issue occurs
If the issue does not occur, one (or more) of your plugins is causing a conflict with Landing Pages.
To determine which plugin(s) is causing the conflict, follow these steps:
- Activate each plugin one by one
- Check to see if the issue occurs after each plugin is activated

That’s a lot of blame shifting for 8 bugs, when I’m using a clean WP install and the Twenty Fourteen theme. I sent you an email. If you’d like, just reply to that and I can give you admin access to the site to check out these bugs for yourself.
Hey Nickth,
Sorry you think I am blame shifting. Please follow the above mentioned steps.
I am also running a clean wordpress instance and am unable to reproduce any of the bugs mentioned.
Are you using an older version of a browser?

Nope, everything’s up to date. I had to use Contact Form 7 and Flamingo, a 3 plugin workaround just to make a landing page that captures leads.

Besides the browser wouldn’t explain why a conversion is being tracked but the lead is not being stored in the Lead database.

Esp when Contact 7 and Flamingo stores leads too.
The leads are stored via javascript and an ajax call. Different browsers work with javascript differently. It would very much effect the forms if using an older browser.
We don’t support other forms. Please use the built in form tool: docs.inboundnow.com/guide/forms/
David, I think you’ve done a great job in attempting to help this person, and I can see that you really want to make sure that his issues are resolved. Kudos on you for that effort!
The one thing that he did mention though, which I don’t see followed up on is his bullet point:
“Support forum not even open now to try to address these bugs, and looked through past topics, no signs of answers to these either”
I like the GREAT options and pre-built templates you guys have designed, but as a starting rookie, I will be LOST without proper guidance and help.. 🙂 Can you verify if your forums are “active” or not? And if not, is there another method of attempting to get the help and support we need? ie, YouTube video tutorials, etc?
Thanks David!
