  • Have you tried recreating your permalinks. You do this by disabling your current permalink structure then reenabling it.

    Thread Starter Comparativa de Bancos

I just made it but is not working yet…

I published a opst yesterday and his tag is working

but not for the rest of the tags…

    Any suggestion?

i have the same problem: and not only for tags, but also for archives. updating the permalinks as suggested did not help. this happened after we upgraded and moved to another server. there isn’t a problem with the new tags, but older tags are not shown. i can see these old posts related to the tags through the admin interface “posts–>tags–>posts” but the the permalink /tag/sometag does not work. “edit–>update post” makes the post appear among the tags, but it’s impossible to go through that manualy for all posts. “quick edit –>update” does not work, either.

I am having a similar problem as well. On a fresh install, when an existing tag is entered (tag/realtag) I will get a blank page, but when a non-existing tag is entered it will come up with a nothing found page.

    I have tried:
    – deleting all tags and adding a new tag and putting it to one post
    – all the different permalink settings and trying with the new format
    – replacing all the wp-include files and original template files
    – trying other plugins like UTW and Simple Tags

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

I have the same problem on my blog http://weinschenker.name. It appeared after the upgrade from 2.7.1 to 2.8-beta1 and 2.8beta2.

I can no longer add tags that existed before my upgrade to 2.8-beta1 to posts. I can only add tags that are brand-new.

Any ideas? Does anyone from the DEV-team read this? Can we provide you with additional information or debug-output etc ? Just tell us what you need.

My explanation and fix for this issue as far as my blog was concerned:

I got no words to thank you…

I was having this problem since last 2 weeks and my site traffic dropped like crazy. I had DB Cache disabled but still it was not working. And after reading this post and deleting all DB Cache related files, I was amazed to see the tags starting to work again…

    Thanks Thanks Thanks !!!!
