my website is http://www.wafts.co.uk if you need to refer to that

Hi, I see you managed to achieve it..!

Do you mind telling me how you placed it there and how you edited it to look like it does (i.e. just a single box with a magnifying glass)?

I want exactly that in my website: http://www.mascari.co.uk

    Cheers.

I changed the theme. I now use the paid theme uberstore

    Hey,

thanks for reaching out – unfortunately our Search Everything plugin only improves WordPress default search functionality without modifying any of the template pages. In other words, the default WP search box is used by our plugin. And the position of that search bar is controlled via your theme.

If you have any other questions let me know. Take care and have a nice day,
    Petra

HI, just installed this, quick question, is there a way to remove the ‘tag’ (I guess that’s what it is) that denotes the person/email address of the poster in the Search Results? Site is at http://arvdheart.org. For that matter, is there a way to remove the date as well in those results?
In other words, as an example, all of this when you search arvd:
    February 3, 2015 info@tcsmg.com

    Hey,

you need to change that in the WP theme you are using. For example, for
Twenty Fifteen theme, you need to go to “Appearance”-> “Editor”-> select your theme and find e.g. “content-search.php” file. Once there you can change what should search results display. For example, by default Twenty Fifteen theme does not display authors but I wanted to remove the excerpt, so I just removed ” <?php the_excerpt(); ?>” line from that file (content-search.php) and it no longer showed up in the results.

Hope any of this helped, take care and have an amazing day,
    Petra
