    Figured it out! Right now, it assumes multiple notes, hence the list. The next version of the plugin will only display notes in list form if there is more than one note per item.

    thanks. I’ve removed notes for now. let me know when the update fixes it…

    Should be fixed in 5.4.

    Thanks for the update.

    For the most part seems to be fixed but see footnote 4 under ‘Design Thinking’ at http://ii4i.org/resources/ where it seems to be happening again. Also under next entry “Design for Startups and Entrepreneurs”, Footnote 1

    The way it works now is that there’s a numbered list for each item, and if there’s more than one note for an item, then there’s a bullet list for each note. You can use CSS to hide the bullet and change other styles.
