Apologies for the delay. Were you able to get the plugin running? I would love to help you get this taken care of – probably by resetting your account on our side. Let me know!

    Hi,

What happens when you press the ‘Remove API Key’ button?

    Hi Rocco:

    Nothing.

The problem is, the API field is blank and somehow – probably my error – it got accepted.

No Frank, not your fault. There is likely a bug and I’m trying to get to the bottom of it.
Here’s an other person experiencing the same thing. ( https://wordpress.org/support/topic/api-not-generated?replies=6 )

Could you try sending me a debug report. Can you try sending me a debug report. Click ‘BruteProtect Debug’ at the bottom of the settings page, then click the ‘Send Report’ button.

    Thanks
