It can be displayed autmatically, using shortcode or php functions – and it works the same no matter what kind of file you attached.

Plugin is working amazing well , greate job !
When you click on the file you have an option to download it or open. That’s the way it works – it will not open the file.
But on chrome I don’t have any option to open it, it’s seems to works autmaticly. On the other websites I can open attached pdf without problem and then download it by clicking right button on the mouse. I have to resolve this some how :/
It’s controlled by the browser, I think you can modify that.
But the plugin itself is for file attachments downloading.
This problem isn’t solved here
Any browser still opens the attachment in a different application. What happens by default usually is the browser uses it’s inbuilt viewer to display the file, making the process much friendlier IMO.
Maybe we’ll provide an option for that, but pls keep in mind that this plugin is intended for file downloads.
dFactory of course you re right. But fr0d0 have great idea, and it’s good for you and users 🙂 coz functionality for this plugin will be bigger 🙂
