  • Hello
Did you ever get this resolved?
The idea that a 30 day renewal is the same as monthly doesn’t actually cut it as the day of renewal day is slowly creeping forward in time every month. Looking for a solution too.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I’ve found several threads on getting this plugin to work.
I also found this link that actually tells how to use the Y, M and Day.
    http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/plugins-on-github/pmpro-expiration-date/

My problem is that I still cannot get it to delay anything. It still just shows a renewal in 30 days.

Is there a way to troubleshoot this?

    Thanks

I go the plugin to work with a set number of days delay but it does not seem to work setting the Y, M2, 1 (This Year, Next Month, Day 1)
Is the PMPro Expiration Date plugin only for PayPal?
    I’m using Stripe
    Thanks

7 months later this is STILL an issue.. I started a post on the member forums in an attempt to resolve this..

Here’s what we are trying to achieve..

    • Member signs up for our subscription service
    • No payment collected at signup
    • Customer is billed on the 5th of the month following their initial signup and the 5th of every month thereafter for the duration of their subscription (we have a 3 and a 6 month subscription option)
    • If the customer signs up Sept 1 – 4th, they will be bill on the 5th of Sept. If a customer signs up between Sept 5th – Oct 4th, they will be billed on Oct 5th.
    • Subscriber, must come back to the website to re-new their subscription

These are my member level settings:

    • Initial Payment: $0.00
    • Recurring Subscription: Checked
    • Billing Amount: $19.00 per 1 Months
    • Billing Cycle Limit: 3
    • Custom Trial: Un-Checked
    • Disable New Signups: Un-Checked
    • Membership Expiration: Un-Checked
    • Email Confirmation: Checked
    • Level Cost Text: The price for the Subscription Service is $15 (plus $4 shipping-included in subscription cost). $0.00 is due when you signup. After signing up, you will then be billed $19.00 per month for 3 months beginning on the next billing cycle (the 5th of every calendar month).
      Hide Shipping Address: Un-Checked
    • Subscription Delay: Y1-M2-05 (changed to Y-M-05 per PMPro Support suggestion)

Member 1 signed up on Sept 3rd.. Her billing date SHOULD have been THIS month on the 5th (Sept 5th).. However PayPal shows she will be billed on the 3rd of NEXT month (Oct)

I thought my settings would support this, but in reality, the PayPal subscriptions show that they are going to be billed 1 month from their signup day which is NOT what my client wants. Disappointed to see that this apparently is not a setup issue, but an ONGOING gap in functionality for this plugin..

Have to come up wit a solution QUICK since the 3rd of the month is coming and we have to figure out a “Plan B” before the 1st customer gets billed again.. (this subscription program involves the shipping of PHYSICAL product and having ONE billing date makes it easy to set the ship dates to one day a month versus having to remember to manage MULTIPLE shipping dates) Otherwise we’ll have to cancel all of the members who signed up for the new program and AGAIN delay the roll-out of the subscription service (NOT a desirable option)..
