Just wanted to share – Assign Post to a Page

New to WordPress.

I needed to assign Posts to a Menu tab (Page). Bit of trial and error and came up with:

1. Create a Page.
2. Add the Page to the Menu. Move to desired location.
3. Save Menu. Page should show up as Page, not Custom.
4. Go to Settings – Reading.
5. Select Front page displays A static page  Post page  page created in Step 1.
6. Create Post. Assign category or not. Publish.
7. Select Page in Menu.
8. Verify Post is listed
