Profile picture not showing?

    My Facebook feed shows up alright, but there is no profile pic. There is a blank square area (approx. 40px by 40px) where it should be. Next to posts, the author pic is also missing, but instead of a blank space, it gives the author name — apparently alt text. (?)

    I don’t remember seeing anywhere that this was a “Pro” only feature — is there any other reason why there wouldn’t be a thumbnail showing up?

    Hey singer74,

    The profile pictures should be displaying. If they’re not then it’s possible that you have an add-on or extension installed in your web browser which is blocking the images from Facebook. Could you check to see whether this is the case and disable any browser extensions you may have installed? You can also check by viewing your site in a different web browser and seeing whether the images appear then.

    Let me know whether that’s the cause of the problem. If it’s not, then could you send me a link to your site so that I can take a look first hand?

    Boy do I feel smart…. haha. It turns out it was indeed an ad blocker running in my browser. Thanks for your help, sorry to bother you for something trivial!
