Support » Fixing WordPress » [Plugin: WP Unformatted] Conflict with images added via Add media

  • When activated this plugin conflicts with the code that is generated by WordPress’ Add media functionality.

This is the code that I have in a post:
    [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="240" caption="Logitech MX Revolution"]<a href="http://flickr.com/" target="_blank"><img alt="Logitech MX Revolution" src="/images/screenshots/logitech-mx-revolution-annotated.png" title="Logitech MX Revolution" width="240" height="180" /></a>[/caption]

When I view the post, the referenced image is not visible and the code is sort of messed up. Note that this happens although I didn’t use the custom fields in the post at all.

I just tested it with sponge set to 1 which alleviates the problem. But when sponge is not 1 or not there at all, from what I can see in the plugin code, the post is filtered through wpautop, which for some reason unknown to me results in the above error.

Maybe the theme I’m using (Thesis) somehow doesn’t use wpautop…
