Suggestion: Easier Page Breaks

Joomila (sp) has a plugin which allows the post to be broken down into pages by clinking on link for the associate plug-in and the appropriate URLs are created (Hyperlink for the page and the url for the created page). Currently WordPress has a ‘create an internal link’ plugin. However this plugin is time consuming to use as you are required to search through a list to find the appropriate posting to link and then insert it. If you try to create more than a two page posting the plug-in does not always give the results desired.

For me I would like to see an easier way of creating pages in WordPress in order to breakdown longer postings than what is provided by the current system. Maybe this can be an improvement for 2.8 or a plug-in that creates pages?
