• None of the features listed in the description are available in the Lite version! Note that it says “Abandoned Cart plugin” in many locations, there is no such plugin, there is “Woocommerce Abandoned Cart Lite” or “Woocommerce Abandoned Cart Pro” and the only thing the lite version does is:

send an email to the customer with his/her name in it, (at least you can design the email) but no link, no automatic login as in the description! IT’S JUST FREE ADVERTISING FOR THE PRO VERSION!!!

and the Pro version costs $119 US for 1 web site!!!

All of the features that are mentioned are available in the Lite version.

The Lite version is meant to send a reminder notification to the clients about their abandoned carts. To add a link, YOU yourself have to add a link to your website in the email template. If you do not insert your site links in the template, then no links will be sent in the email.

The description of the Lite version is:

“Abandoned Cart plugin works in the background, sending email notifications to your customers, reminding them about their abandoned orders.”

And that is what it does.

As far as mentioning the PRO version features, there are many others out there who are indeed interested in the features that are provided in the PRO version. You are free to use any other plugin that does not “advertise” it’s premium version features & that satisfies your price constraints.

And the PRO version costs $119 to be precise. We are not compelled to sell as per your budgetary constraints.

And yes, you are absolutely right. If you cannot get the Lite version working, you should not buy the PRO version. And also leave a 1-star review while still asking for help on how to create an email template.

When such reviews are rare for any plugin, it reflects more on the reviewer’s thoughts rather than the plugin itself.

This is what the description says:

Abandoned Cart plugin enables Customers to:

Recover their abandoned carts in a single click
    Automatically logs in registered customers

Abandoned Cart plugin enables Admin to:

Identify the Abandoned Orders information, including the products that were abandoned
Offer incentives to customers to return and complete their checkout with discounts and coupons.
Create unlimited email templates to be sent at intervals that you set
Add custom variables like Customer Name, Product Information, Coupons, etc. in the email template
Embed Woocommerce coupons in the emails being sent to customers
Copy HTML from anywhere & create templates using the powerful Rich Text Editor
Track whether expired coupons are causing cart abandonment
You are notified by email when an order is recovered
Track abandoned orders value v/s recovered orders value
Track emails sent, emails opened, links clicked for each template/email
Automatically stops email notifications when a customer makes a purchase or uses the cart recovery link
Note: Some features are available in the PRO version only.

Could you show me documentation of which of these features are available in the Lite version and how to use them? or don’t you provide any support for the Lite version? I am not a programmer, and that is what your plugin says it does.

The lite version has the following features:

    1) Identify the Abandoned Orders information.
    2) Create unlimited email templates to be sent at intervals that you set manually.
    3) Add custom variables like Customer Name in the email template.
    4) Copy HTML from anywhere & create templates using the powerful Rich Text Editor.
    5) Track abandoned orders value v/s recovered orders value.

The plugin is not meant only for programmers.

As far as providing support for Lite version is concerned, anyone who can read our support threads would understand that we do provide support for the Lite version too.

But you seem to be more interested in just wasting our & your time rather than focusing on the solution for your problem. There is not much we will be able to do with that attitude.

    Thank you.

I agree. Zero stars. This plugin does basically nothing without being setup somehow with “templates” and yet there is no documentation anywhere for the Lite version that I can find. I can only find documentation for the Pro version. And right in this very thread Vishal fails to provide a link. Instead he berates his potential customers. Nice.

    @takeok,

It is not meant to do anything unless the email templates are added. If you do not add email templates, the abandoned carts will still get recorded.

The documentation available for the PRO version applies to the Lite version too as the Lite version has some features from the PRO.

https://www.tychesoftwares.com/woocommerce-abandon-cart-plugin-documentation/ – This is where you can find full documentation of the PRO plugin.

To create email templates, please click on the 4th item: ‘Setup Email Templates’ or open the link: https://www.tychesoftwares.com/woocommerce-abandon-cart-plugin-documentation/#section4

As far as providing the link is concerned for above customer, yes, it should have been provided with the last reply.

This forum is meant to fix any support issues that a customer may have with the plugin, it is not meant to discuss why the PRO version is priced X amount. If you feel that answering that ‘berates my potential customers’, there is not much I can do. Please feel free to browse through the other support requests so you can make an informed decision on how we respond to our customers.

If you have any more questions, please let me know on the thread that you created.

    :Vishal
