Hello, I have a Maxgalleria page setup with three galleries thus far. The problem is that when I got to the page from the main menu it loads all the images in a vertical stack with no lightbox functionality enabled.

I’m currently using a responsive theme called “Vertikal” which seems to handle the menu items through AJAX.

You can see my issue by going to: petrocaribejm.gov.jm –> Media center –> Photo Gallery

Once I hit refresh, the gallery loads normally.

    Help?

Sorry, your site isn’t coming up. Can you let us know when it’s back up?

    Thanks!

    Theodophilus,

Unfortunately your theme is loading the content of the page without loading the required CSS and javascript files when one clicks on the photo gallery menu options. If I go to the front page and type in the URL for the photo gallery, http://petrocaribejm.org/photo-gallery, then the page loads correctly.

This is a theme issue and not a MaxGalleria issue. But you could try changing your menu to treat the photo-gallery as an external link and see if that will bypass the AJAX loader.

    Hi Theo,

    Is this issue resolved?

Yes, Alan’s advice worked for me. I had to create the gallery link as a custom menu, using the “www” before the URL, to force it to trat the link like an external link. Works fine now. Thanks.

Terrific. We’re glad it worked out for you.

Would you mind setting this to ‘Resolved’ and also please consider giving MG a rating. We’d appreciate it.

    Best,

    Bob
