• Hi,

I recently started to migrate my blog, mingtiandi.com, from ixwebhosting to Media Temple’s gridhosting, but have been unable to successfully complete the migration.

I have set up a new WP installation at Media Temple (same version as on IX), downloaded the db from IX and then uploaded it to Media Temple, downloaded the wp-content folder from IX and then uploaded it to Media Temple, and edited the wp-config file to point to the new host and database. And I have redirected my dns to the new host and reset the ttl to 300 seconds.

However, when I go to my site’s url I get a blank screen. I can access the login and admin panels, but not the site itself.

As the site functions fine as long as it is not connected to the old db that I uploaded, my suspicion is that there are some elements in the db that still point to the old host. This could possibly be related to a plug-in if it isn’t a native WordPress problem.

Has anyone had a similar problem and have ideas on what I need to do with the db or other aspects of the site to fix the problem?

    Thanks!
