• As I was filling out the plugin settings, it was working great. Then all of a sudden my site won’t load at all, but I still have access to wp-admin. I’ve tried resetting the plugin to default as well as deleted and installed it again, but still the same issue. Now whenever the plugin is activated, I get this issue, but when its deactivated or removed, everything works as it should. Why would it conk out like that?

    Thanks.

Thank you for responding. Good to know that I’m not the only one. If they update your thread before mine, could you please post here? I would really appreciate it!

    Thanks.

If that is the case I’ll keep you informed by this thread.

    Bump.

    Anyone contact you yet @enra?

Had contact. They don’t seem to be very interessted or concerned. They assured me, if there is a bug the technisians would fix it with the next update. They forgot top tell me when to expect an update.

@weezinged and @enra What version of the plugin are you using? also what version of WordPress?

I’m running an older version of this plugin 1.6.3 on the latest WP 4.1 and am not having any issues.

Now I’m afraid to update lol!

I’m not what version I have from Yoast SEO. But it is the latest, although not tested with wordpress 4.1. (That’s why I’m waiting for an updsate) Furthermore I.m using the wordpress theme ‘Virtue’.
Tell me, where are you both from?

I was running the latest Yoast SEO 1.7.1 on wordpress 4.1. I wouldn’t update to the latest Yoast SEO until they release a new update that’s compatible with WP 4.1.

So strange how it was working for us and then just crashed.

Thanks for the follow up @enra I appreciate it!

    bump. any update guys?

I’m also dealing with this this–Blank white screen, whole site won’t display as soon as i turn this plugin on. Turn it off? Everything else works fine.

Last time I contacted Yoast I asked:
“Can you tell me when the next release of your pluginn will be?”
Got this answer on january 20:
“There’s no ETA on the next update yet. If you want to keep up to date on our plugin updates, you can follow our update twitter account: @Yoast_Updates”

I wonder if they are just arrogant and ignore the problem, or don’t know how to solve it.
Does any of you know another seo pluginn that works better than this one? (Although, at the moment they all do better;)

    Thanks for reporting this issue.
Unfortunately we do not have enough information to reproduce this problem. Please follow [these guidelines](http://kb.yoast.com/article/180-how-to-write-a-good-bug-report) to improve your [bug report](http://kb.yoast.com/article/180-how-to-write-a-good-bug-report).

Also, it may help us a lot if you can provide a backtrace of the error encountered. [This gist](https://gist.github.com/jrfnl/5925642) will explain how to enable the backtrace in your website: https://gist.github.com/jrfnl/5925642

You can submit your bugreport on GitHub: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new

    Thank you.

    Hi TacoVerdo,
Thank you for your reaction. And yes, I would write a bug report if I could. But I am just another wordpress user with limited PC knowledge. In my opinion the best idea would be for you to try what happens. I did send a few mails to Yoast support with some information about the problem, it seems to cause failure in .hcaccess. Hope you can fix the problem soon.

    bump.

    anything new guys?

Same issue here. I normally dont work on shared servers, but in this case that is where this site is. Its been working for a few years and I have narrowed it to this plugin. All plugins up to date, but I get max mem errors if I go disable all plugins, then re-enable them. From there out, they are all white page.

    My error logs are empty.
