    Hey!

It works with most themes but sometimes themes do strange things. But anyway, you’re right and it does look quite bad! I definitely don’t want that.

I opened an issue here: https://github.com/Recipe-Hero/Recipe-Hero/issues/118

I’ll get this fixed up this week for you and will push and update with some other improvements 🙂

    Thanks for letting me know!

OK, it looks much better now! I will resume testing 😉

Thank you for your quick response

Great! There are a couple issues I’m still working on but it’s hard due to the theme’s structure. For now, hope it’s ok and let me know if there’s anything else I can help with!

There seems to be a misplacement of the “Footer Featured”-Posts. It is placed too far on the left with recipe hero posts.

The “Footer Featured” is a checkable Option in Point’s Theme Options (just in case you missed it)

    Hey,

Yeah I noticed that issue with the footer – just a limitation of how they’ve set up their theme. I think I have a solution I will work on later in the week when I get some free time 🙂

    Opened issue here – https://github.com/Recipe-Hero/Recipe-Hero/issues/120

    Hey,

one (hopefully :)last issue with Point and Themes in general. After some basic translations I tried to publish a test recipe in order to check the frontpage and responsiveness. (http://lachfoodies.de/low-carb-rezepte/auberginen-haenchenbrust/)

So because this is a custom post type it won’t show up on the frontpage? Is there a way to treat recipes as if they were blog posts and to include them into the site-navigation, that is already in place?

Responsiveness on tablet looked fine. On mobile the formating of the ingredients was sometimes a little bit messy. (the longer names)

    Hey!

Normally I recommend setting the home page to be the recipes page but yeah, I can understand you’d want to show posts mixed with recipes. I’m working on a solution for this but in the meantime, one easy way is to use the [recipe] shortcode for each of the recipes you want to include in a single post.

Will look into responsive ingredient formatting too 🙂

The same thing happens with my new blog. I haven’t posted any recipes live because the sidebar falls below the recipe for some reason.

I use the mesocolumn theme and it’s responsive.

    Hey Omicreative,

I’ll definitely take a look for you 🙂

Do you mind opening up a new thread with your site URL and the theme details / URL?

the shortcode works, but author meta information is showing up twice. Is there any way to solve this?
