• Hi, first of all, let me thank you for this great plugin.

Now, I installed the latest version of your plugin for the first time. The problem I’m facing is that the Tweet button turns red showing the following error:

“Unable to load SDK script for twitter. Please make sure that nothing blocks loading of social scripts in your browser. Some browser extentions (Avast, PrivDog, AdBlock etc.) can cause this issue. Turn them off and try again.”

The “funny” thing is that this only happens on Firefox and Chrome… on IE it works fine, no error is displayed, but the actual tweet button…

Following advise from other comments, I turned off the “Actual URL” option, increased the allowed time to load scripts (up to 60s!), …

I’m quite sure it is a configuration thing from my side, because I see the plugin working in other sites (I don’t know which version of your plugin they are running) despite using Firefox or Chrome.

Is there any log or console message I can check? I don’t find where I can check errors.

    Thank you very much

ok, I think I know where the problem may came from… I’m using CloudFlare (CF) with “Rocket Loader” option turned ON. If I disable it and clear CF cache, Tweet button do not shows any error.

By reading CF’s support page here , it seems theme developer may use “data-cfasync=’true'” to manually add a js script to the Rocket Loader processor, but it seems that it can not be used to do the opposite, that is, to avoid a script to be enqueued by Rocket Loader.

Any chance the developer could dig into it to find a solution so Rocket Loader can be used?

    Thank you very much!

    Hi Paul,

    any update on this issue?

Do you need me to make some tests or anything to help you?

    Hi,

We tried to reproduce the issue on our website. But it seems the RocketLoader is not the main reason why the Twitter button is not loaded. On our website the Twitter button works with the RocketLoader without any problems

@enventa, @s2am, @ianx: please show your page where the issue occurs in order to investigate the issue more deeply.

    Paul
