    Dear Forum Members,

    How can we install real-time email verification in the ‘Genesis eNews Extended’ plugin for WordPress ?

    We are using using the plugin in combination with MailChimp but would like to have real-time email verification taking place during the email sign up.

    We envisage using briteverify.com who offer a real-time api but where / how do we install it in the Gensis eNew Extended plugin ? Would we add it to the ‘form action’ field even though the field already contains the code snippet from Mail Chimp ? We would be happy to use another email verification service, if this is required.

    Hi,

    I don’t believe there is a straightforward way to add this. MailChimp themselves would be a more likely place to add this check since the form is sent directly to them (e.g. there is no mechanism in place with this widget to process the form within your site before sending it off to MailChimp).

    Is there a particular problem you’re seeing that you’re trying to solve with this solution?
