    Hi,
    this file is not maleware, it is a caching file for the dashboard admin widget, caching the latest RSS new items from the mapsmarker.com newsfeed so that the widget loads faster.
    Thanks anyway for the feedback – will contact WordFence developers so that they whitelist this file

    Hi again,
    I checked the docu of the SimplePie-library and next release will use the custom filename mapsmarker-dashboard-widget-rss-item-cache.spc for cached items. I guess the scanner of WordFence just checks if a MD5-hash is used for a file, which is not a clear identification of a malware file.

    Hello, I received the same message from wordfence. The problem seems that this file is in the google malware blacklist.
    Scanning files for URLs in Google’s Safe Browsing List
