• Looks like it might be a very nice plugin. Something I’ve been searching for. So, I downloaded and activated it. Setup the General Settings. However, where is the forum? I don’t see it anywhere.

    Hi shughey,
wpDiscuz is a comment plugin, it changes your default comment system under posts and pages. Please make sure comment box is allowed for your posts.

Comment box is checked on allowed, still no wpDiscuz.

Correction, it is now showing up, thanks.

However, I can’t make changes on the General Settings.

    Hide voting buttons
    Hide reply buttons for guests
    Hide author titles

After clicking on these, nothing changes.

    Also,

The name, email and captcha don’t show up.

    Hi shughey,
As far as I see wpDiscuz doesn’t work on your WordPress. It’s not compatible with your theme. Please try to use the default theme and we’ll see the problem. If there will be the same issues, you should deactivate installed plugins one by one and find the one which cause this conflict with wpDiscuz.

Thanks for the advice. I did all that and nothing changed, however, I’ve worked around them and everything is working very nicely. I like this plugin, has lots of potential. Hope some addons are in the future.

I have one concern, nothing major but a concern. My pages are blocked until a person logs in. However, the comments are fully visible and just wondering if they can be hidden until someone logs in. I know they can’t comment until they are logged in. I’m wanting to keep the forum private as possible.

    Hi shughey,
I don’t think you’ve done all what I was talking about. because wpDiscuz works fine on thousands of WordPress sites and it has been tested dozens times on default themes. Please do not rate this plugin based on very specific issues on your site. This is a very young plugin and 4x rate can affect plugin popularity.
You can see that this plugin has about thousand downloads and all are happy with that and all reviews are 5x. So you should understand that problem on your website is not a general wpDiscuz problem. Something is not correct on your end. We can’t predict millions of WP website specific configurations.
Also we’d like to check your problem directly on your website. Could you please send admin login details to support[at]gvectors.com email address?
