    talk to your hosts, they seem to be blocking outgoing calls to wordpress

    yes they said, “I can sympathize with that. However like I stated earlier I really suggest having our team take a further look, and get back with you with an update. ”

    then let them do their thing, they can run server diagnostics and other cool stuff and then they’ll get back to you.

    Hey, I was curious if you ever got this resolved. I have the exact same issue, (although I see no actual problems resulting from this error) and want a bit more info to help out my host before contacting them. Even the simplest issues take awhile for them to resolve, so the more ammo I have, the better!

    Sorry, Host Gator was at fault, they increased “rlimit”? and it was fixed. They suck, switch to siteGround or even goDaddy has newer servers as a late that are better than before which is why I went ot hostgator.

    Thanks! I’ll let them know.

    @andrew
    I’m not sure I see the need for a new thread when I’ll be taking it up with my host, and I just wanted joey’s experience which he was so helpful to provide. If I have further issues that the host can’t fix, then I’ll start my own thread, but otherwise it seems excessive.

    If you want support you create a thread, it’s how forums work. You don’t poke around in other people’s threads asking for support.
