So far I think your plugin is great. However I have not yet need to do a recovery so not sure how that will all play out. I hope it would go well if I ever needed to do so.

I do notice an elevated I/O usage… Is that normal? CPU also peaks, but not as much as I/O. I’m trying to find the cause of my spiking I/O every so often. I thought it may be my backups… Does this plugin use resources when not running a backup? Also Would you recommend deactivating it and reactivating it only when doing a backup?

Finally, do you have a document that shows the most important files to backup and which ones may be ok to exclude. Like the most important would be SQL and my wp-contents folder right? What else is probably important/ not so important.

Also can you send me a link talking about the premium version. If there is one. I would like to see if I would need it could benefit from it. Thanks!

    Sorry for the late reply.

You’ll find most answers to your questions here:

You are correct that the most important is the database and the wp-contents folder. Mostly the uploads folder.
