    I am building a free membership digital download site with some paid for products. I want to set up free products that can be downloaded only after signing up for membership.

    My idea would be to have a “download” button that when someone clicks and if they are a member they can download, if not they would go to the sign up page, fill in their details, click submit and then they would be redirected back to the download.

    Can I set up S2 to do that?

    Could someone help please to answer and or point me in the right direction.

    Is this just for digital downloads, or is there going to be another component to membership?

    I ask because, while s2 can certainly do this, it will be overkill if all you are going to be providing is downloads. In that case, I’d suggest using Easy Digital Downloads instead.
