• Having an issue in the ‘General Options’ in the WP dashboard. For some odd reason, the base location doesn’t show drop downs. It actually lists EVERY single country out, and for the US, every single state; causing what seems like endless scrolling. This issue doesn’t just happen with BASE LOCATION. This also happens under CURRENCY OPTIONS, PRODUCTS tab, on CHECKOUT tab, so on and so forth.

Once you go through the check out process, it lists all of these countries again out, in which a user would have to scroll endlessly instead of just using the drop down. We recently moved this site over to another hosting environment for different reasons, but we thought that we would get rid of this bug, but it showed up on the new hosting as well. There haven’t been any other plugins installed.

I’m not sure if this is a bug or an issue with the Theme that I’m using. I’ve recently installed WooCommerce on another site, and the drop downs show up just fine.

The theme being used is here http://themeforest.net/item/abanix-business-portfolio-shop/full_screen_preview/4596725

Is there a bug with the theme or with WooCommerce?

  • I have standard WooCommerce and I don’t have this issue so I don’t think its a WooCommerce bug.

Try to narrow down the element that is causing this. Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce. If the problem resolves, reactivate plugins on-by-one to try to identify which one is causing a conflict. If the problem does not resolve, switch to the default TwentyFourteen theme. If the problem resolves now, it looks like a theme issue, so refer to the theme vendor support.

If the problem still does not resolve by this point, its possible you have a corrupt or incomplete install of WP, WC or 2014.
