    Hi,
I made two backups of two sites (on the same server)
    First one is named
    backup_2014-12-13-2250_Sitename_9171a5aaa89b-db.gz

    Second one
    backup_2014-12-13-2247___663837373db2-db.gz

    The sitename is missing.
Can you please tell me where is the Sitename read from?
Why is it missing on the second site? Should I type it somewhere?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Firstly, it’s purely cosmetic – it doesn’t make any difference.

It is got from the configured WordPress site name in Settings -> General, and all non-ASCII characters are removed. So, I assume you are using a non-ASCII character set. This is a bit of a historical remainder from the original Updraft plugin from a few years ago. I think I should probably change it, as there seems no good reason to forbid non-ASCII characters. I would need to test that carefully, though!

the title is in UTF-8 Greek characters, but I just added a few Latin chrs in the end.

    THANKS!
