We’re developing quite a big project, which needs decent search, and i’m very curious to know if this plugin is compatible with the WP API project, (which will be integrated in core anytime soon).

    wp-api.org

    https://github.com/WP-API/WP-API/issues/699

Because it just used wordpress query, does it hook into the normal wordpress search methods?

I tried relevanssi before, which i think is supposed to to the same (hooking into normal WP search), but that doesn’t seem to work with the WP API

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

The integration only happens at the theme level, not wp core. Should add a feature request to github for integrating into their hooks.

Ok, so to clarify, you don’t replace any existing wordpress functionality and i’d have to make use of your api, so i could route your api into wp api in order to have it accessible through the json api, right?
