• Hi,

I’m wondering if anyone can tell me what the technical term is for this effect, where a page is semi-transparent and slides over a fixed background image:

    http://www.capetribbeach.com.au/

It doesn’t seem to come built-in with the theme (Executive Pro):

I’d be very grateful if anyone can tell me what that effect is called and how to achieve it.

    Thanks in advance.
PS. Also, if you look closely, the waves in the background image are moving – does that mean the background image is actually a video? How do you go about getting a moving image for a page background?

  • In case of http://www.capetribbeach.com.au/, the website is using a fixed background video. And the semi-transparent page is actually due to background rgba value.

If you want the same effect for your theme, you may contact the theme support team as it is a premium theme and is not support in this forum.
