• The current hosting provider that my clients site is using doesn’t require/allow an .htaccess file… This has proven to be a little more than a headache on more than one occasion.

I am trying to optimize for SEO by adding expires headers to my images but the only resources I’m coming across all seem to point to using an .htaccess file, which as previously stated, I don’t have.

The site in question is apcalaska.com (and despite the lack of expires headers, it’s a pretty good resource for info on pain in Alaska).

Now that I’ve written this post, I think I’m having issues adding expires headers to my pages as well… Caching in general is hard.

Anyways, if I could get some help via a plugin on how to add the headers to my images, I’ll be happy.

    Thanks!
