• Thx a lot for this plugin. I’ve tested some other workarounds, like copying and styling the html generated by google, but this is the best approach. It is true that the only drawback is that the plugin saves your google account in plain text, but I created an account only with this purpose 😉

Thank you very much for the feedback! We’re working on a way to encrypt / decrypt the password for storing in the DB. Normally, it’s easy (like your WP password) because the password is always being entered each time and so only encryption needs to happen. (encrypted password can be compared with encrypted password after a user enters clear text password and if it matches the password they entered is valid). But in this case, decryption also has to happen because the form has to automatically submit the data (including plain text password) to Google for authentication with each request and obviously the password can’t be entered by the person submitting the form. Anyway, we have an approach that will probably work, just have to implement and test.

    All the best!

I see that with the PRO version now “Password is stored encrypted in your WordPress database” – see http://neversettle.it/buy/wordpress-plugins/ns-google-sheets-connector-pro/

Are you able to advise when this is likely to be added to the free version.

Plugin Author has advised as follows:

..the features in the Pro version will probably not find their way into the free version. We spent significant dev cost on both and it does not seem viable at the moment to spend any more time on it right now.
