I created a post, scheduled the post to Publish 2 minutes later. When I hit schedule, the post does not go into the Bufferapp queue. After 2 minutes, post is published, still not sent to Twitter through Bufferapp.

When I publish the post immediately, the post goes into the Bufferapp queue with no issue.

    What am i doing wrong?

  • I’m having the same problem. Sometimes my scheduled posts will go to Buffer but often they do not. As it is now I have to manually check every post to see if it went to Buffer.

    Hi,

There are several other threads regarding scheduled Posts. The biggest issue is that the necessary WP Cron jobs don’t get fired, meaning the plugin has no way of knowing that it needs to publish your scheduled Post.

    Thanks,

    Tim.

In my case I’ve setup a server cron job every five minutes. The blog posts are published fine but only about half of them are sent to Buffer.

That doesn’t sound right. There should be no need to setup a server cron job for WordPress’ cron service to run?
