• Hi, Thanks for all the work on this it’s great.

To add to your FullPage or Page some Parallax effects, first activate the Parallax mode and deactivate the CSS3 mode…
    > Done

Then, for a classy vertical parallax, chose a picture in portrait mode!
    > Er where? Do I apply it as a background image in the CSS? Is it in the plug in settings? Is it on the full page? The section? The Slide? (note I’m using a Page – Pages can now be used as FullPages. )

    thanks! Andy

    Hi Andy,

Thanks for downloading my plugin !

The background is the featured image. Your image has to be in portrait format for the fullpage (vertical parallax) and in landscape format for a section (horizontal parallax).

    That’s it !

    Sincerely,

    Julien

    Hi Julien,

what do you mean in portrait format? could you please explain?

    Thank you

Hi Julien, thanks for the reply – is there a way to set it to allow portrait (gjpino83 this means the image is taller than it is wide) though?

I am using a portrait image on this fullpage slide and am not seeing what I’m expecting…

    Hi Andy,

    Thanks for your translation 🙂

You have to set your portrait image on the fullpage, not on a slide.
You can use a landscape image on sections too.

    You’re wellcome,

    Julien

    Hi Julien, tried that –

    http://abd26.co.uk/?fullpage=this-is-a-full-page

The image doesn’t even turn up never mind anything else…
(The featured image is portrait, css 3 is turned off (under WP full page options on this page) parallax is on)

Ok, you can’t see the parallax effect because you set a background color for each slide.

Empty this value in each slide and you’ll see the result.

    Sincerely,

    Julien
