Prevent All Downloads?

    I have a client that like me loves the GDE plugin. However he would like to post content that cannot be downloaded.

    I can ensure that the download link is not active in GDE settings, however if you hover over the document there is a Pop-out icon (next to the enlarge icon). Clicking on the Pop-out icon opens the document in a new Google Viewer page which has its own download option.

    Here’s a screenshot of the Pop-out icon (top) and the page view download icon (bottom):

    The ideal would be to be to disable the download option in the Google page viewer. However if that cannot be done I’d like to disable the Pop-out icon so the page viewer never opens.

    Welcome anyone’s advice.

    My apologies, but this feature was disabled after a breaking unexpected change from Google to their viewer. Hopefully the functionality can be restored in the future.

    Understood K3davis. Hopefully the devs will be able to sort things out soon…it’s a great plugin.
