How are you adding that slideshow? Is it part of your theme or via a plugin?

Have you tried deactivating the Photon option in Jetpack? Just that one option and nothing else.

How is the slideshow being added? I cannot find any references to the slideshow in your HTML source.

Is it via the theme or a plugin?

    Could this be Wp4.0.1 related…?

I have same issue – also lost all images including ‘meteor slideshow’ from a totally reliable website that has been built 2 yrs and was working perfectly…?

FIXED – just in case someone else has issues like above with images not displaying: – MY ISP server team determined issues with the .htaccess file and the loaded PHP 5.3.

As I’d done no updating on this website for at least 12 months, I’d assume this error crept in with Plugin updates and WP auto installs of new versions. I use All in One Wp Security & Firewall – this I know writes to the .htaccess file, so can only assume it may have been the reason the file somehow became corrupted & or just failed to have good code.

NB: virus scans of the whole site revealed no malicious code.
