Hey, I started work on a new website (yeh, its kinda messy atm) a few days ago and I have no experience with CMS. It is a website for local bands and needs a functioning news section, tour section, downloads section and forums.

The news section will just be a div that displays the latest x posts, and I want an news archive page that can be browsed through. I guess this can also be achieved with phpMyAdmin, but WordPress would be easier.
The download section will basically host free EPs etc.. is there a plugin for WordPress that would support this type of page and syndicate it etc.?
I know I can create the tour section with XAMPP and phpMyAdmin, though I would prefer a CMS that integrates all of these features (excepting the forum I suppose).

Assuming I can accomplish all this with WordPress (most importantly downloads and news..the others could be accomplished externally), how difficult would it be to adapt my existing website (at the moment just the index page)? Otherwise, could someone please recommend me another CMS or other solution please?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
