The issue we are having is that when an order is placed, the payment goes through, as client receives confirmation email directly from Authorize.net, but order is listed as PENDING on back end in Woocommerce, and consequently, no emails are sent to client that an order has been placed. I realize that the lack of notification is due to the status being PENDING not PROCESSING like it should be.

On a side note — if I run a transaction that is free (I have a custom coupon set up for testing purposes), the order is set to PROCESSING like it should be in the order list, and emails are sent appropriately.

We get no errors. Upon going through checkout process, after successful payment, customer is brought back to order details page with a “Thank you” message at the top.

This started when we updated the plugin, theme, and woo to the most recent versions.

At the moment, my client has to go in and manually set pending orders to processing, at which time, emails are sent out.

I have contacted theme developers without response (yet), posted on woocommerce board, searched for 16 hours now and haven’t found a solution.

I am a designer, not a developer, so I don’t know much about coding, php.

The issue seems to be that Woocommerce is not receiving status of a successful payment from authorize.net which is then setting orders to pending, which eventually cancel themselves, and no emails are being triggered.

ANY and ALL help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED, even if this isn’t your plugin’s issue, if you could give me a clue, I’d be grateful.

    Thanks
