  • Hello,

same problem here, after the 4.0.6 upgrade.

The translation box doesn’t show anymore for specific language, it was the only feature of this great plugin that I used for french, english and russian. It was working fine until this upgrade.

It show for all languages but I don’t need that, I don’t want the speaker of these three language to scroll trought all the list.

    Any help?

    Thanks

    Hi,
I am also experiencing the same issue after upgrading to 4.0.6.

The translation box is not appearing anymore and when try to debug using firebug it is giving JavaScript error.

    It says something like this

    “ReferenceError: af is not defined”

Sometimes en instead of af and so. n also showing sometimes jQuery ui issue.

Can you please look into it as it really creating a lot of problems for me now.

Hello everyone, please revert back to the old version, and then please provide links to your website, either here in the forum, or send me a link here:

    Hey Rob,
Can you please tell us from where we can download the older version? I mean Can you please provide us the older version url

    hello,
I have the same problem: I tested the new version locally and I see the flags of the selected languages but the box to select other languages will no longer appear!
I kept the old version on my website, here is the address: http://www.mon-coin-de-bourgogne.fr

I hope there will be a correction soon because this plugin was really perfect.

    Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, can you please download my 2nd update here (version 4.0.7) and tell me if this has solved the problem.

There was a coding issue for this part of the plugin – let me know if it works as of now.

Sorry but it solves nothing for me: still no languages box display!
Careful: Note that on my website, I have always the old version. But I’ve updated locally, and still no improvement.
    Good cheer.

Hi flobogo, can you please install the latest on your site, so that I can see it? This update should have fixed it, unless there is some other issue.

Would you mind just installing, so that I can see, or at least create a test page and add the widget there?

The code should tell the problem.

    Thanks!

    Good afternoon.

    It does not work.

Please insist he says mohsinrafique, tell us how you can revert to the previous version and so everything will be solved, so easy.

    A greeting.

Hi everyone, here is a link to the previous version.
    https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/google-language-translator.4.0.5.zip

I have also found the issue – it is a small syntax glitch in the area of Google Analytics code. In fact the plugin will work simply by disabling Google Analytics temporarily. I am preparing to update here again in a moment.

Thanks for providing links to the website – this is much needed when asking to look at an issue – thanks!

Horror! I completely lost the translation system on my site online! To answer you, I activated version 4.07 from the 4.05 directly. I do not know if it’s because of this, but now I see neither flags nor the languages box!
The flags and the languages box should be on the home page, below the slider on the right: http://www.mon-coin-de-bourgogne.fr
Thank you to try to fix the problem as soon as possible.

Hi flobogo, yes I’m working on this issue now – it is the Google Analytics issue I mention just before your last post. There is a small glitch in the code used in conjunction with Google Analytics, I will have fixed here in a few moments.

    Thanks

    Hi Rob Myrick,
I had not read your last message before to post mine.
I confirm that removing the setting for Google Analytics, everything is back in order. It will be better to wait for the fix of the problem πŸ˜‰

HI flobogo, I have fixed the problem – please update to version 4.0.8 πŸ™‚

Let’s hope that one works! I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but so many variables in testing here, so I don’t always see them until I have users test the update πŸ™‚

For all of you having this issue – I believe your problems will now be fixed as well.

Please provide an feedback here – thanks!
