copy database to new site??

    Hi

    I had a BIG failure in updating wordpress version 4.0 to 4.01, so my site layout messed up, missing visual editor etc…

    But i maneged to backup the database before the s*** went down. So i installed another wordpress on my server, with another name and database. I updated this succesfully to version 4.01, installed the theme as before. If possible how do i use the backed up database on this new blog?? I want my post, videoes, comment back. .

    One way is to export all content from the old version using WordPress export tool and import in the new version. There might be other solutions too.
