• There are postformats like explained in the customizr doc. Unfortunately I do not understand how to display resp. select the relevant post (e.g video post oder post with image etc.)

In other themes You click the postformat on creating the post and then You click the widget to display the relevant post . How is this done in customizr?

  • Try the standard WP panel in Dashboard>Post.

There’s a panel called Format. If you don’t see it, click on Screen Options top-right and check the Format option.

thanks ®dellconsulting – I know how to setup a post with the appropriate format. The thing I do not know is how to display the post of the format “video” or the format “audio” or “image” in customizer. I think I don’t have the clue at the moment ;-).

OK, well try setting up a video post and then add this to the content:

    <iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”//www.youtube.com/embed/[YOURCODE]?rel=0″ frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>

You should see a YT video player.

hi @rdellconsulting …I think we have a misunderstanding. Thank You of course for Your help. But I know how to integrate a video in general. If You check my actual project digitalfilm.ch You can see it.

The thing what I am searching for is the so called “ephemera widget functionality” from theme fourteen. I thought that the post functionality of customizr does this.

I create a post and add a post format, e.g. video. Then I put the “ephemera widget” e.g. in the sidebar left… and the post which was formatted as a video, will automatically play in the left sidebar if the ephemera widget is set to video. Like this I can put ephemera widget as I like in my website and I can assign post format functionality to the places as I desire. etc.

Its difficult for me to explain, ….but perhaps You know the ephemera widget functionality, so You would know what I mean.

Sorry @gomill, I’m not aware of it. Will flag to Nic to see if he knows of it.
