    Hi Mike,

Been trying to create a coupon to give 10% Product % discount for a minimum spend of $150 excluding “On Sale” items and not to be used in conjunction with any other coupon aka individual use selected. Publish the coupon, Tried it on a product for $299 regular price and attempted to apply the coupon just created and get the message “Sorry, this coupon is not valid for sale items.” That is Wrong and should not be happening.

When I “Uncheck” the “Exclude sale items” box and update the coupon, it works but also discounts “On Sale”items. I have brought up this issue on a few occasions since 2.1 being released and it seems still not fixed. Really need this working to give special coupon discounts to customers for Christmas.

Can you please help! Looking forward for a fix please.

    Thanks, Jeasy

  • Hi,

I have the same problem. I suspect it ‘recognizes’ the item as a ‘sale’ item, because we have product variations, that in fact are sale items.

Of course, the error message should only happen when a product variation which is on sale has been put in the cart.

Now, when a product variation which is NOT on sale is in the cart, we still get the error “Sorry, this coupon is not valid for sale items.”

Jeasy, do you also have product variations that are on sale?

    Maurice

I have reported this as a bugreport:
