• I am logged into the wordpress dashboard – in the All Pages view

How do I search for a page by url?
I can see the title, author, comments, date, seo, seo title, id but not url.
to see the url, I must open each individual page one at a time.

I want to put in a url and get that page in the wordpress dashboard – how can I do this? Hours of searching and I still have no clue.

    Thanks!

  • Why do you want to search by URL? Since the URL is open in your browser, normally your template will have an “edit this post” link, or the WordPress admin bar will have a link to edit the post or page. That is one click and does not require you copy the URL, access the dashboard, and then search. Why are you trying to search in the dashboard? Maybe there is an easier way to accomplish what you want right from the page in your browser?

Thank you chrishajer. That is probably the easiest way.

One challenge is that I have a redirect on some pages – so I can’t actually see the page to edit without taking off the redirect.

I was just hoping there was an easier way to do it in admin.
