I have successfully created a package and uploaded it with the installer to Godaddy Cpanel.
Now when running the installer. I can;t connect to the database, it fails.
I tried changing host name from localhost to the unique database URL when running phpmyadmin show host query that i saw here somewhere.
I tried naming the database: uername_database and database only.
Can you please help? Database settings in Godaddy is no where near clear.

@cory… after several attemps, my duplicator installer is not working.. tried all methods, given in your FAQ’s.
1. I am using GD, got the db details from WP-config – didnt work
2. googled and tried few other combinations, it didnt work either.
possibly Duplicator doesnt work on GD setups.

Interesting, I just saw this thread and I also have the same problem with GoDaddy DB.

I had no problems using Duplicator when I migrated my site hosted with Hostgator.
