I’m having issues with the plugin conflicting on what I think is an Ajax level. (Cant click on screen options at the top of the post editor).

I have disabled all other plugins and it only seems to resolve sometimes when plugins are re activated.

So does the plugin use Ajax?

If so can it be turned off?

I have also had an issue where you can add a widget and add content, then when you come back to edit it all the buttons are gone.

Unfortunately the description of your issue is not enough clear. The plugin normally should not affect the post editor, nor the screen options.
As for Ajax usage, it depends on WordPress and not directly on the plugin, which has an adaptive behavior. Normally WordPress makes heavy use of Ajax for widgets operations, but you may revert to “Accessibility mode”, which is not based on Ajax. You may switch the “Accessibility mode” from the screen options in the widgets page. If you’re unable to reach that option because of the above issue, you may open the following url by hand:

Perfect, clicking on accessibility mode when editing seems to sort the issue.

Therefore it does look like an Ajax issue which is affecting WP4 and some plugins (but im not saying its the fault of your plugin)
