Pages and File pages taking too long to load.

The plugin is functioning extremely slowly. I can login fine but as soon as I try to open the pages or files category, it freezes up and will take at least a minute to load the page. After the page finally loads, I can enter any of the pages easily and quickly. Any ideas what could be going on?

Also when I go to files page every file has the following error attached to it:
Warning: filesize(): stat failed for /home/est123uk/public_html/wp-content/customer-area/916b5f433a0d8cf9a9050dff3de9ec5d/9116-SUMMARY.rtf in /home/est123uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/customer-area/includes/core-addons/private-file/private-file-addon.class.php on line 194

Hi,

Would you have more information about how many users, files, pages, … you have? Are you using any add-on on top of the original plugin?

Second possibility: have you installed any other plugin? Does disabling all other plugins help?

I have 50 users and 120 files/pages.

The add ons I am using are:

Notifications
Login Form
Extended permissions
Collaboration

Duplicate post, enhanced text widget, Jotform embeded forms, Replace howdy with welcome and wp-activity are the only other plugins I have activated.

Any ideas?

By the way, that problem arises when some user belongs to a few groups and/or a few roles. Is that the case?
